The emperor ordered the Summer palace to be built right in the middle of the Western mountain which was located approximately 50 Li away from the capital city. A majestic view of the mountain range surrounded the back end of the palace, while the sparkling lake stretched endlessly in front. The rest of the palace perimeters were covered by lush greenery. It didn’t matter if the Summer was scorching hot as it would still be fresh and cool in the Summer Palace.

Other than his imperial harem, Li Yue only brought his closest advisors and some important Imperial administrators with him this time around. They now settled in the little villas that were built at the perimeters near the mountains.

Li Yue had always been diligent in his work, so even if they had come to the resort, he would still work on the important official matters. The summer monsoon season at the southern part of the country always filled the lands there with torrential downpours so it was constantly flooded. Li Yue had no choice but to work hard daily on solving this matter.

Although the Western mountain was comfortable to live in during the summer, mosquitoes and other bugs especially cicadas infested the place. This was due to the greeneries that surrounded the palace. Li Yue was constantly in a bad mood these days because of the floods in the southern region. Now even the constant high pitched calls of the cicadas annoyed him to no end. Every single court lady and eunuchs that were present were now using a sticky pole to catch those cicadas. Li Zhen Zhen also tried to follow them.

Yet which humble servant will dare to let her soil her pretty hands like that?

Li Zhen Zhen only thought of doing something nice for Fu Huang for a change so Liu Xu assisted her when she used a long pole to stick those cicadas onto it. She only manage to catch one after half a day had passed. The court ladies and eunuchs beside her complimented her excessively on her success making her beam brightly as happiness filled her heart.

Li Yue was still unhappy with how they had handled the case so far and pointed out the faults in their plans. He frowned when he heard a commotion outside then walked towards the windows preparing to shout at them. His anger dissipated immediately when he saw people surrounding Li Zhen Zhen.

Li Zhen Zhen’s face was now filled with joy. She was determined to catch even more cicadas and Li Yue saw how everyone played along with her from afar. When he saw how the court ladies and eunuchs kept calling her “Princess!”, he felt his annoyance flitter away just like that.

He stood there and look at Zhen Zhen’s determined profile until she caught a second cicada. This time he could see happiness fill every line of her body and he couldn’t help but crack up in laughter. He then turned back and continued to discuss the official matters.

After playing with that for some time, Li Zhen Zhen changed to a new outfit and cheerfully went to find Li Yue. She wanted to give Li Yue a surprise, so she walked along the veranda at the back end of the palace instead. Suddenly she heard two court ladies gossiping in the corner.

She was curious so she kept on listening. As their conversation went on, her brows started to scrunch up.

She waited until both the court ladies left then informed Liu Xu to keep on walking with her towards where Li Yue currently was at. Liu Xu wanted to advise her but Zhen Zhen was not in the mood to listen, she only continued on lifting her skirt and ran towards Li Yue’s reading room.

When she arrived there, the clear tune of Oriole birds singing came from within the reading room:

“This humble slave didn’t realize that your majesty still remembers this song! This slave will now play this tune for your majesty!”

The elegant notes of the Guqin filled the whole room, delivering both subtlety and refinement to one’s ears with every strum of its strings. Li Zhen Zhen turned around and leaned her back on the wall, her head drooped in silence.

Her heart squeezed when she thought of the conversation that she had overheard just now. They said that Fu Huang once had a court lady that he adored. Every time they came here, they would meet up and she would always play a small tune for him.

She didn’t want to believe their words, but it’s really true...

According to the court ladies, Fu Huang had reside favors* upon the court lady before.

TL: The Chinese term for "reside favors" is 临幸(pronounced as Lín xìng or lynn sing). I decided to settle on this word because later on Zhen Zhen will confuse this word with "bestowing favors" (宠幸 pronounced as Chǒng xìng or chong sing). Basically residing favors means living together while bestowing favors means Imperial snu snu.

The rims of Li Zhen Zhen’s eyes reddened as she thought of it. Will Fu Huang continue to reside favors on her after the court lady had finished playing the song?

She started to walk away from the room,

“Princess!” Liu Xu chased after her, “Princess, you shouldn’t listen to their groundless rumors! His majesty...”

“Sister Liu Xu, you don’t need to explain any further.”

“Princess...”

“I wish to go and rest.”

Liu Xu accompanied her to the attached palace to rest. She personally saw to it that the princess laid herself down to rest on the bed. She then thought of personally going to his majesty to relay this incident to him.

His majesty really had a lady in his room though, what should she do...

She was in a bind when she thought of what to do in this case. In the end, she decided to stay by the princess’ side while she rested. She pulled open the bed curtains and was shocked when she saw that the princess was no longer there!!

Li Zhen Zhen’s head drooped down as she walked aimlessly along the mountain path. She had escaped the room by climbing onto a stool then jumping out of the windows. When she turned back to look at the windows, she felt fear fill her heart, she was now even more afraid of Fu Huang’s reading room.

She still didn’t understand the meaning of bestowing favors and residing favors. No one had educated her on these terms since she was little. She can only guess the meaning of both terms with the number of times she has been !nt!m@te with Li Yue.

Fu Huang adored that court lady.

So it turns out that she was not the only one who Fu Huang adored.

It was then that she realized that Fu Huang had so many consorts which also includes... includes her own Consort mother.

A deep sense of sadness filled her soul as her confusion rose. It didn’t mean much even if she was with Fu Huang like this, didn’t it?

She followed the little path behind the palace and started to climb up the hill. No one stopped her because the secret agents were still keeping track of her movements. She had been pampered throughout her life so she had never walked so much before. Not long after, the soles of her feet started to ache and she could no longer take a step more. She almost tripped over a shrub that stuck out from the ground. The muscles of her calf were sore so she braced herself on the trunk of the tree and looked around the unfamiliar surroundings. She started to cry from her heartbreak.

The secret agents felt something was not right, so one of them went back to report the situation to his majesty. When the secret agent reached the foot of the hill, he saw a person riding a white steed heading towards their direction.

As time went on, Li Zhen Zhen sobbed harder and harder. She felt certain that he was definitely doing it now with that court lady. Her heart was filled with pain. She sobbed until she could not breathe properly, her body finally bended and collapsed on the ground.

She wanted to cry even harder, she had never felt so defeated throughout her life. What should she do now? She had no more energy to go back anymore, and she didn’t want to. She no longer wish to see Fu Huang smiling at another person. She was even more afraid if the other person he was smiling at was her own Consort mother.

Are her thoughts now appropriate?

The more she thought about it, the more fear filled her heart, and it made her want to cry even harder.

The sound of horse hooves galloping came from afar and it finally stopped in front of Li Zhen Zhen. She was still wiping away her tears, so she didn’t realize that they were already in front of her. Li Yue softly spoke:

“Are you lost, little lady?”

Li Zhen Zhen felt happy for a moment when she heard Fu Huang’s voice. She turned around and raised her head as more tears blurred her vision. When she saw Fu Huang teasing her, Li Zhen Zhen turned back and cried even louder.

Li Yue was confused why his little princess didn’t run to his arms happily when she saw him.

Li Zhen Zhen started to grab on the grass and tried to stand up. Today, she wore a white Beizi with gold butterflies embroidered at the edges. Her little hand were even more pearly white than the materials of her sleeves. She finally stood upright after pushing herself up from the ground, but her calf muscles were weak and she collapsed once more. Her body was aching and she felt shame fill her body and tried to push herself up once more while crying.

Li Yue frantically got off his horse and helped her up, trying to see what was wrong with her legs.

Li Zhen Zhen was limping while she fended off his touch. Li Yue arched his eyebrows:

“What games are you trying to play now!”

Li Zhen Zhen cried while trying to push him away, but her soft hands had no energy. Li Yue then reached down to touch her legs.

“No, don’t!” She sobbed while trying her best to push Li Yue away.

“Obey me!” 

After all, Li Yue was an emperor, so when he raised his voice, his tone was imposing and fierce. He had never raised his voice to Zhen Zhen before, so when she heard his tone, her hands immediately fell limp to the sides and her tears flowed even more down her face.

Li Yue positioned her carefully in his embrace and started to inspect her legs. Li Zhen Zhen then squirmed in his arms, pulling away from him:

“No... Don’t... woo woo woo...”

“Don’t fight me on this!” 

Li Yue’s tone became threatening as he touched her legs once more.

Jiao Jiao was brought up as a pampered little lady, so she never had to walk very far before in her life. The shoemaker had always made the soles of her shoes very thin so that her embroidered shoes always looked pretty. So when Li Yue smoothed his hands down to check on her feet, he felt that something was not quite right. He immediately took off her shoes and socks then turned her feet around. The soles of her feet were now swollen and red!

Her ankles even had some black and blue marks.

Li Yue expression darkened as he tried to carry her and walk away. Zhen Zhen took this opportunity to crawl towards the other direction on the grassy grounds. Li Yue tried to carry her again and angrily scolded her:

“Why are you not obeying Zen?!”

Li Zhen Zhen frantically struggled while she cried harder at his fierce tone. In her panic, one of her legs hit the side of the tree trunk. That made her gasp with pain.

Li Yue’s heart instantly melted as he tried to hug her again.

“Its alright, it's Fu Huang who is wrong. Fu Huang should not have scolded Zhen Zhen. Fu Huang is wrong, alright?”

“Waaaa....” 

Zhen Zhen cried out her heartbreak while Li Yue held her tightly in his arms.

Li Yue then dipped his head to kiss away the glistening tears on her face.

“Fu Huang is wrong, let Fu Huang see what happened to your legs.”

“Don’t look, I don’t want to let Fu Huang see... Waaaa...”

Li Yue had never seen Zhen Zhen cried so sadly as if her heart was shattering. This made his heart ache:

“Who is it that made Zen’s little princess unhappy? Fu Huang will seek revenge for you, so just tell Fu Huang who it is.”

“Woo ooo ooo ooo ooo...” Zhen Zhen raised her little hand to wipe off her tears.

Li Yue started to massage her legs then said softly:

“Be good, let Fu Huang know.”

Zhen Zhen’s blurted out her replies bit by bit:

“It’s Fu Huang, Fu Huang made Zhen Zhen unhappy.”

Li Yue bent down once more to kiss her little nose:

“How did Fu Huang made Zhen Zhen unhappy. Hmm?”

“Woo oo oo... Fu Huang likes that court lady and Fu Huang wants to listen to her playing the tune. Fu Huang wanted to reside favors with her... Waaa....”

Li Zhen Zhen no longer cared and blurted out all her displeasures.

Li Yue wanted to laugh and cry at the same time.

“Zen’s imperial uncle was also in the reading room just now. Zen is planning to give that court lady to Imperial uncle though.”

“... Ah?” 

Zhen Zhen’s face was full of tear tracks when she lifted up her head to look at him.

Li Yue laughed despite feeling a little angry. He then pinched her nose:

“You little jealous monster, how can you still drink the vinegar of a court lady.”

TL: In Chinese, the word vinegar (醋) is the same word as being jealous (吃醋).

Li Zhen Zhen immediately flushed red. She felt so embarrassed that she wanted to escape immediately. Li Yue dipped down his head once more to suck and kiss her little lips.

“Are you a jealous little monster?”

“Mmm mmm” 

She groaned while she kept on squirming in his arms. Pl34sure trickled in little by little within her veins as she instinctively started to put her arms around Li Yue’s waist and held on for dear life. She raised her head and slid her little tongue into Li Yue’s mouth so that Li Yue can savor her taste.

Li Yue kept on sucking her tongue. A silver thread formed between them and dribbled down.

Li Yue gave her one more forceful kiss then carried Li Zhen Zhen and walked away. Li Zhen Zhen clutched on to him tightly, refusing to release him. She sobbed.

“Zhen Zhen wants Fu Huang, wants Fu Huang, woo oo oo...”

Li Yue sighed:

“My greedy little jealous monster, didn’t you say that Fu Huang is bad? Fu Huang has been cooped up trying to solve official matters these few days, so Zen haven’t had any free time to feed Zen’s little princess. Fu Huang will now carry darling back home, alright?”

“No, don’t...” 

Zhen Zhen kept on squirming in his arms, her hands had already reached inside his robes to touch Li Yue’s meat pole. Li Yue had also abstained himself for the past few days, so when her cold little hands touched him, his meat pole immediately sprung up to greet her.

Li Zhen Zhen slid out her tongue to give to Li Yue. Li Yue could no longer control himself. He bent his head once more to take her tongue into his mouth. His hands reached out to unclasp the jewel button at the nape of her neck, while Zhen Zhen arched her back to press her little t!ts closer to Li Yue’s warm hands.

Li Yue smiled when Zhen Zhen started to whimper. He raised his hand and slapped her little a55 hard:

“You planned this from the start!”

”Ah!” 

Zhen Zhen cried out when she accidentally moved her sore legs once more. Li Yue was concerned when he heard Zhen Zhen cry out like that, so he hooked both her legs up next to his chest.

Zhen Zhen snuggled deeper into his embrace, acting coy. Her little hand reached into Li Yue’s trousers and gently caressed his meat pole. She squirmed once more and started to mo4n.

“Zhen Zhen wants Fu Huang, wants Fu Huang… want Fu Huang to f#ck…”

Li Yue took a deep breath. In the end, he could no longer deny his darling. He immediately lifted Zhen Zhen up and went deeper into the trees.

Li Yue’s breaths turned harsh.

“Ah~~” Li Zhen Zhen moved her feet as she lightly stepped on Li Yue’s meat pole. She then looked at Li Yue with her heavy lidded eyes.

“Fu Huang, Fu Huang’s meat pole is so hot, so hot… Ooo oo oo… Fu Huang, Fu Huang…”

Li Yue admired Zhen Zhen’s white little feet, even her toes were delicately exquisite. Zhen Zhen shut her eyes, humming and whimpering as she used her feet to rub on his meat pole.

“My treasure.”

“Fu Huang, hug me, want Fu Huang to hug, ooo ooo oo...”

“Alright~”

Li Yue gave in to Zhen Zhen and hugged her. He then carried her outside and said softly:

“Fu Huang is now going outside to ride Zen’s little mare.”

Everyone had cleared the vicinity outside early on. Zhen Zhen kneeled with her upper body sprawled on the floor while Li Yue rode ruthlessly behind her.

Ecstasy filled Zhen Zhen’s soul so much so that she could no longer even utter a sound. Li Yue started to pity her and carried her up to f#ck her in his embrace. He kept calling her his “treasure” and “Jiao Jiao”. He finally shot one more load into his little mare, filling her tummy to the brim.

Li Yue ripped off her dudou and wipe his own shaft. He then covered her face with it, so Zhen Zhen could no longer see anything. Only the musky scent of Fu Huang lingered in her nose.

“Fu Huang... Fu Huang...”

Li Yue carried her to the veranda and sat down. He then hugged Zhen Zhen even tighter in his embrace then he rammed in ruthlessly. This time around his f#cks were slow and unhurried. His hands went on to rub her little n!ppl3 and agitate her little flower cl!t. He played on until Zhen Zhen’s fluids started to drip down on the floor.

Li Yue then went on to nibble her ears.

“Jiao Jiao, Zen’s Jiao Jiao.”

“AH~ NNN AH~~ Fu Huang~~~”

Li Zhen Zhen threw her head back once more, her mind was completely hazed over by her l#st.

Gao Sheng’s and Liu Xu’s eyes met each other once more, then they let out a relieved sigh.

Yet they didn’t know a well dressed, beautiful lady stood at the corner of the room they were in, just now.

Her face was now blanched and her gaze darkened in sadness.
