Li Zhen Zhen laid in bed the whole day. It didn’t matter how skillful the secret guards were in this case because they would not be able to go into her room and spy on her.
Her tears did not stop till the sun had set outside. Liu Xu finally let out a sigh when her tears had paused for the moment.
“Princess, there are some things that you should personally clarify with his majesty.”
Li Zhen Zhen shook her head then looked at her. Her voice had become hoarse:
“Sister Liu Xu, I am 15 years old. Normally girls my age are wedded by now and even most of my older sisters were betrothed by this age since we are all Princesses of the royal family. Do you now understand why I cannot live at the Wen De Palace forever?”
“Princess...”
Li Zhen Zhen wiped off her tears:
“I can no longer accompany Fu Huang for the rest of my life because I am his daughter after all. Do you understand that I can only be Princess ZhaoYang?”

Li Yue was in the middle of berating someone when he received the announcement that the princess was requesting an audience with him.
He took a deep breath and then tried to suppress his anger as best as he could, then he nodded:
“Call the princess in.”
The rest of the ministers turned around and went out of the court. They waited attentively at the side palace. They felt so blessed by the heavens today and felt that their cushy lives were once again secured because the Princess had come. So they had high hopes. The princess also came by the last time around and Sire’s mood had become exceedingly good that he didn’t even scold them after that. He not only let them off, but he also asked the palace servants to give them each a box of light refreshments.
They all released a sigh of relief while they enjoyed their tea. After a few sips, the sound of tea cups breaking can be heard from within the room. They immediately stood up in shock.
Li Yue crushed the tea cup underneath his fist. His eyes shot daggers at the calm and collected Li Zhen Zhen.
“Say that once more.”
Li Zhen Zhen lowered her eyes to the floor:
“I said that when Dowager Empress was still alive, she had matched me with her nephew, the heir of Marquis Cheng En before. Daughter had turned 15 this year, so its time for daughter to be wedded. Fu Huang, please help me to offer my hand in marriage to him.“

“I have already seen my Consort mother today, so I told her everything about Fu Huang.”
She raised her head once more.
“Fu Huang, can you help me keep our relationship a secret and please let my mother and me go.”
“You——”
“Sire, every single word that I have spoken thus far had been a lie. I am my Consort Mother’s daughter. I do not have a drop of royal blood in my body. As you have said, I am a wild seed after all, so how can you still believe in me.”
Zhen Zhen continued on, her tone was devoid of emotions.

Li Zhen Zhen bent and lowered her forehead three times to the floor, then turned around and walked away as if she no longer cared about this relationship.

Marquis Cheng En requested to see him once more and this angered Li Yue so much that he stripped him from his Marquis title and demoted him to become a Count instead.
The newly demoted Count Cheng En was stupefied and hurriedly exited with his tail tucked between his legs. He was afraid that if he remained further in the Summer palace, he would even lose the title of Count.
Li Yue sat at the same spot without moving an inch from his seat. No one went in or out of the room until the sky slowly turned dark outside.
Gao Sheng didn’t know what to do at all. His majesty had always been in a romantic and loving relationship with the princess. The princess also always acted adorable and sweet towards him. So when she heard that his majesty had come down to see her, she was surprised but happy with the news and went to greet him personally. Li Yue raised his feet and kicked her into a kneeling position.
“What did you say to Zhen Zhen?”
Noble Consort Wan froze at the spot then she bent her head and cried out her anguish.
Li Yue was annoyed. He called the secret guard to pin Noble Consort Wan down and she finally broke down and told him the truth.
Li Yue was so angry and sad at the same time that his heart started to ache.
Later that night, Li Yue changed into civilian clothes. He took only Gao Sheng and his secret agents and rode their horses back to the capital. They arrived at the mansion of Count Cheng En and saw that the plaque on top of the gates that still indicated that it was still the Marquis’ mansion. After all the count had just been demoted today.
Li Yue slowly walked into the mansion that was not his own and no one came out to stop him at all. Nobody else would be able to do this since the Mansion was protected by guards. After all, Li Yue was the Emperor and the secret guards that accompanied him were all pretty capable so they silently disarmed and decapitated a lot of people there. This was done so that nothing would hinder Li Yue when he walked in.
Not long after, Li Yue found out that Li Zhen Zhen was living at the LuoXian Court.
“What kind of stubborn Princess-y attitude is this! Sire had already offered your hand to me in marriage! Now you are my woman!”
Those angry words rang out in the courtyard.
Li Yue’s face paled as he stood in the shadows. He saw Marquis Cheng En’s heir continued on to scold her:

Li Yue felt his anger boiling inside while his heart broke further into smaller pieces. Why didn’t she come to him to ask for anything? Why didn’t she come and ask what he had decided to do? Why did she make such a decision alone?
It was then that a group of women came in.
A fairly pretty madame led this group of women in and acted their part by bowing to her. She then started to insert snide remarks into her words:
“Our lord is now suffering because of you, princess. His lordship has now been demoted thanks to you. Now that you have also been demoted, do you think his majesty will now build you a Princess’ mansion? Princess, do you think that with your status now, you are fit to even live together with us?”
She put her hand in front of her mouth and laughed. The rest of the concubines joined her as well.
The disdain that oozed through Li Zhen Zhen’s gaze stabbed the heart of the concubines. So she coldly said:
“I was here earlier than Princess. Why don’t I teach Princess a lesson on how we run things here and how we service our lord? AH, AH!”
Liu Xu stepped forward and slapped her face on both sides:
“You vile woman! How dare you think that you are fit to say those words in front of a Princess!”

When Li Zhen Zhen heard her say that Li Yue was no longer asking about her, she treated it as something that would naturally happen since she had hurt Fu Huang’s heart. She shut her eyes and started to cry quietly.
The light only illuminated the allure of the beauty who was shedding tears.

Li wiped her tears while her head drooped in silence.

Li Zhen Zhen sobbed. Li Yue panicked when he saw her cry so sadly that he stepped forward and pinched her chin:
“Li Zhen Zhen, are you dumb?”
Li Zhen Zhen shut her eyes while crying and Li Yue pinched her face until he left a red mark on her skin.
“The person that Zen yearns for and has Zen’s heart; Why is she willing to let someone else bully her like this?”
Li Zhen Zhen mumbled while her heart was in pain:
“Sire, please don’t say that. I have already become someone else’s wife.”
“HA!” Li Yue scoffed.
“Someone else’s wife? When you have already been f#cked by Zen like this, how can you be his wife?”
“Sire’s Imperial edict has been...”
“When Zen says that it’s not allowed, no Imperial edicts would be effective!” Li Zhen Zhen looked at him in a panic:
