Young Master, come and possess me - Chapter 25
<Chapter 24> [Index] <Chapter 26>
Young Master, Come and Possess Me!
Chapter 25: Flying
The ground was so far. Tang Cheng Cheng could feel her breath stop in fear.
She frantically circled tightly onto his neck and like a worm, she squirmed her body into an unnatural position.
Fox was now showing off his wind wielding powers and flew across the sky at an unprecedented speed. His nimble toes tapped lightly on the roof ridges and the tree tops. He had only gotten back 30% of his normal powers and there was a girl now on his shoulders, it would still not be a problem for him to fly straight to the mountains.
Yet it was the first time Tang Cheng Cheng was so far off the ground and it made her really really scared.
“Put me down!” Tang Cheng Cheng cried out in fear.
“Shut up!” Fox angrily scolded her. “Do you really want the people at the ground to hear us?”
He was still not flying high enough above the ground and his face still resembled Li Hai Jiao. If someone heard their voices and looked up in curiosity, the whole town would instantly know that the Young master of the Li family was a demon.
“I will get scared...” Tang Cheng Cheng sobbed as her snot started to flow out with the wind. ”Can’t we just take the horse carriage?”
When they reached a busy street in front, he flew over all the heads of the pedestrians below just like a bird soaring across the sky.
“AH——”
Fox put his hand up and covered the shrill cries that nearly came out of her mouth.
“If you shout again, I will throw you on the ground!” Fox growled sternly.
Her face was now paled and her whole body trembled uncontrollably. She held onto his neck even tighter, scared that the moment she loosened her hold, she will tumble straight to the ground.
“Don’t hold me so tightly.” Does she really not want him to breathe at all?
The moment Fox pulled away her hands, she stuck it back to his neck. It was as if he was currently saving a frantic drowning person and she was going to cause both of them to die like this.
Fox had no more choice but to find some place to land where nobody was around. He then used his index finger to push on her forehead.
“Back off.”
Tang Cheng Cheng was surprised as she really backed a few steps away from him.
Her eyes panicked as she looked around her as her feet finally stood on the hard soil. She then jumped a few times to confirm it was really stable.
“Am I really standing on the ground right now?” Why did she feel as if her body was still floating in mid air?
Fox was annoyed as he said,
“How can we still ride a horse carriage now? Did you really forget that you nearly drowned because we did that?”
A shudder went through Tang Cheng Cheng’s body.
“But its really scary when we are flying.”
She didn’t know that demons could actually fly and now her eyes were wide opened to that particular experience.
“I won’t let you fall anyway.” Fox grabbed her once more,
“If you really die now, I have no idea what would happen to me so before we change back our souls, I will protect you without fail.”
What happens when their souls change back?
He did say before that he would kill her.
She had to make him change his mind by making him agree for her to be his slave. This is so that he will not be able to take away her life when the day really came and then she will ask him to heal her father’s legs too.
“Put your hands on my shoulders and hold on tight. You are not allowed to choke my neck at all.” he warned her.
“Alright.” She gulped nervously, mustered her greatest courage to put her hands on his wide shoulders, but when both of their bodies touched, she couldn’t help but tremble heavily.
Fox look at her pale face that was as white as a paper while she trembled uncontrollably. He sighed and didn’t know whether he was feeling annoyance or displeasure. Maybe it was a little of both.
Why do normal human beings create such unnecessary troubles? Their guts were as small as mice and their bodies were so weak and inflexible. Now he had no choice but to guard her life closely and dared not even let her out of his sight for one second.
Come to think of it, isn’t he her bodyguard now?!
“Close your eyes if you are really scared.”
“Alright.” Tang Cheng Cheng immediately shut her eyes tightly.
“Hold on tight.”
He sucked in a deep breath and they both disappeared without a trace in an instant.
