Yang Nainai almost thought there was something wrong with her ears, so she told her to repeat herself three times in a row. Ma Shanshan patted her chest confidently and said, 

"I swear by my male god, if I tell a lie today, I will be a single dog[1] for the rest of my life."

Yang Nainai couldn’t believe her ears. Back then, Zhang Qiyun and Hu Sili’s affair had become quite notorious. That a55h0le even threatened her because of Hu Sili that day.

Now he became jealous because of Huang Shiqi?

This didn’t make any sense!

"Why do I still think that you're lying to me?"

“Aiya, the game is about to start, hurry up. I’ll fill you in along the way." 

Ma Shanshan was anxious to get to the game because she wanted to be updated about the outcome every single second, so she dragged Yang Nainai to the basketball court.

When they arrived, every single bench there was almost filled to the brim that people were starting to spill outside of the hall.

Ma Shanshan still tried to squeeze herself in while dragging Yang Nainai behind her. They struggled so much through the packed area until their hair became messy when they finally settled down.

Yang Nainai took off her hairband while she dragged her fingers through her hair and watched the heated game on the court.

The blue team was now at 10 points while the red team scored 15 points so the red team didn’t have much lead on the blue team. She glanced at the game and asked, 

"Who is the blue team and who is the red team?"

"Do you even need to ask? Of course Huo Yixuan is on the red team!" 

Ma Shanshan replied while screaming along with everyone else. 

Yang Nainai then shifted her gaze and found that Huo Yixuan was really playing on the court. He was wearing the No. 6 jersey and was now dribbling his ball like he was mocking Zhang Qiyun, causing a lot of girls to chant their support for him.   

Looking at the scene, she felt a strange feeling trickling little by little into her heart. She thought about it for a while and then tugged lightly on Ma Shanshan's sleeve, 

"Why are they doing this again? Can you tell me the details this time?"

Ma Shanshan’s gaze never left Huo Yixuan’s body. Unlike the boys who were paying attention to his skills, she, like most girls, looked more at the player's body and face.

"Our Little Xuanxuan is soooo handsome!"

Yang Nainai was speechless, 

"Didn't you say that you didn't like Huo Yixuan anymore, and that you like Zhang Qiyun now? What happened? How long did it actually take you to like your Little Xuanxuan again?"

Ma Shanshan scoffed, "I didn't know about the messy history between Zhang Qiyun and Huang Shiqi before this. Now that I know of it, who the hell will still like that sc#mb4g, Zhang Qiyun!" 

Yang Nainai was even more surprised when she heard her saying this. She then leaned closer to her ear and whispered, 

"What the hell is going on, when did those two hook up together?"

Yang Nainai was curious whether that crazy woman, Hu Sili, knew about this.

Ma Shanshan said while watching the game, 

"I heard from my cousin that Huang Shiqi and Zhang Qiyun were classmates in junior high, but for some unknown reason, Zhang Qiyun later went on to study in Shanghai. When Zhang Qiyun returned to his hometown for winter vacation last semester, he suddenly got in touch with Huang Shiqi again."

They remained in contact because of their parents. The Huang family seemed to be interested in forging a relationship with the Zhang family because Zhang Qiyun’s family were seriously looking for a business merger.

In order to get closer to the Zhang family, the Huang family asked Huang Shiqi to get into a relationship with Zhang Qiyun because they knew each other as ex-schoolmates.

Huang Shiqi was also pretty cunning as she managed to actually hook up with Zhang Qiyun. They started to date secretly by taking advantage of being in the same tutoring class together.

Unfortunately, the good times did not last long. After the school semester started, Zhang Qiyun returned to Shanghai. Huang Shiqi couldn't bear the loneliness, so she ended up dating a new boyfriend instead. When Zhang Qiyun found out about it, Huang Shiqi was already in the process of dumping her new boyfriend and was about to pursue Huo Yixuan instead.

"In that forced kiss contest, Huang Shiqi's declaration began to spread quite far for some unknown reason. Zhang Qiyun happened to finally succeed in grabbing the ball, and then he scored another goal which caused Ma Shanshan to stomp her feet angrily.

Although Yang Nainai could slightly understand why this competition started, she still couldn’t get her head wrapped around on why Ma Shanshan was reacting like this, 

"What does this have to do with you, why are you so worked up for?"

Ma Shanshan sneered, "Originally, it had nothing to do with me, but some ugly people really hide behind their pretty shells[2]. Don't be fooled by his handsome appearance, his mind is really full of sh!t."

Yang Nainai looked at both Huo Yixuan and Zhang Qiyun, then agreed with her deep inside her heart.

If Zhang Qiyun's brain is full of sh!t, Huo Yixuan's brain is full of yellow trash[3].

One wasn’t better than the other because neither were good people anyway.

It's just that she hated Zhang Qiyun even more.

"Tell me, how did Zhang Qiyun offend you?"

"He didn't offend me, he offended my little sister!" Ma Shanshan sneered. 

When she saw Huo Yixuan grab the ball away from him just to shoot another winning goal, she immediately cheered with excitement as she screamed along with the other girls. 

"Huo Yixuan, Huo Yixuan, Huo Yixuan!" 

Yang Nainai was fascinated at the rapid change of emotions on her face. She then tugged on her clothes to calm her down. 

"Calm down, calm down please."

"Calm down, my a55. When I think of my male god crushing that a55hol3, Zhang Qiyun, I feel so damn happy. Ah...Little Xuanxuan, why are you so cool!"

Yang Nainai covered her face and wanted to pretend that she didn't know her, but when she looked around, she realized that the girls around her were all equally crazy about Huo Yixuan.

All their little faces were flushed red while their peach blossoms eyes were eager to attack Huo Yixuan with their adoration. She stood out like a sore thumb as she was the only indifferent girl among the fangirling crowd. 

When Ma Shanshan finally calmed down, she continued to gossip, 

"As I was saying, my cousin was in the same school as Zhang Qiyun. She told me that when Zhang Qiyun didn't have Huang Shiqi by his side, she would secretly send him love letters, just like her other classmates."

"My cousin was also just another girl who had a crush on him. She always thought that it was a beautifully innocent gesture to send a love letter to a guy she admired. She never asked for a reply either and she only hoped that the person she likes will know that there was a girl who secretly had a crush on him."

"Who knew what a sc#m that Zhang Qiyun turned out to be. He actually bullied my cousin because of the love letter."

“How did he bully her?" 

Yang Nainai thought that maybe he reacted like Huo Yixuan and ended up sleeping with her?

"Zhang Qiyun, that b4st4rd, rounded up a bunch of sc#mb4gs in school who were just like him. He received a lot of love letters and gifts on Valentine's Day, so it would be fine if he were to ignore them, but he started a game and made a bet with those sc#mb4g classmates." 

Ma Shanshan immediately became angry when she talked about this.

Yang Nainai remembered her own experience and instantly understood that it must have been very hurtful for her.

"They randomly picked a letter out of his valentine’s stash and asked Zhang Qiyun to meet up with the girl who sent the letter to him. If the girl turned out to be pretty, then he would have to pretend to like and play with her for a whole month. But if the girl was ugly..."

"Then he would humiliate and reject her publicly!" 

Yang Nainai blurted out those words unconsciously. Ma Shanshan froze on the spot then she shook her head.

"No, he didn't do that."

Yang Nainai was surprised and was about to ask her when Ma Shanshan continued on the conversation, 

"They posted her love letter on the main bulletin board and attached her photo. They laughed at how piggy her shameless face looked. I only knew about this incident a few days ago. My cousin was forced to transfer to another school because of this scumbag. She refuses to talk to anyone now because she is scared that someone will laugh at her again."

Ma Shanshan then suddenly piped up, 

"Is being ugly or secretly liking someone a crime?"
