“If you aren’t the one that killed him, then why did the person die if he was very much alive before that?” Tang Cheng Cheng didn’t understand.

He put the pads of his thumb and middle finger together and flicked it on her forehead.

He won’t simply kill anyone without any rhyme or reason.
It’s like the fact that he had decided to wait and kill Tang Cheng Cheng only after their souls were exchanged back to their own bodies. She knew too much about his secret anyway, so he had enough cause to do it.
“How civilized can a person be if he can just casually hit someone anyway?”
He was saying empty words while he looked at her with wide opened eyes[1]!
“You really like to answer back rudely!” Fox then pinched her cheeks with his two hands. “Are you trying to find ways to die?!”

He pinched her until he had released all his frustrations. Fox then lifted up his chopsticks again and continued to wolf down the boiled tender lamb meat.
The food in the Li Household was so delicious. Rich families are different from the norm. It was hard for him to find something so delicious in the mountains and that was why he was willing to use Li Hai Jiao’s body to help him find his killer and at the same time he could savor this type of precious high quality dishes.
”Since you are a nine tailed demon, can you actually heal a person?”
“There’s nothing that I cannot do.” His arrogance reared its head up.
Even if he cannot heal an illness with his own hands, he still had a disciple who was a jackal prince who came from a family line of medical practitioners. He only needed to summon him and he will solve it without fail. So it was a small issue for him.

“Or maybe I can be your servant?” She begged him desperately.

“Mmm…” Maybe this suggestion had something that he can consider about.
“I will think more about it.”
These few days he had gotten used to someone serving him so they were all good days to him and he was indeed satisfied. This was not possible to do now.

Tang Cheng Cheng did her best to make him agree to her proposal. This was all because she was hoping that he could help her father heal his crushed legs.
Fox counted the number of hours that had just passed and it was about time to prepare to eat his own lunch.

“I’m hungry so go and fetch my lunch now.”
“Yes!” Tang Cheng Cheng ran out the door immediately.
When she exited the courtyard gates, the maid, Fan Er suddenly bumped clumsily onto her body.
Fan Er is the personal maid of the 2 young miss of the Li family. She looked younger than she actually was because she was petite and thin but she is already 17 this year and was one year older than Tang Cheng Cheng’s real body.

Did she just see the young master jogging daintily towards her?
Why does that action look so much like what a teenage girl would do?
Fan Er thought maybe she had probably seen it wrongly.
The eldest Young master was a manly man, so how could he actually run here like a teenage girl!
She was probably too tired these days so her vision was blurry now.
“Errr.” Tang Cheng Cheng was surprised as she stood still on the spot.
“Where are you going, young master?” Fan Er asked curiously.
Tang Cheng Cheng froze and suddenly remembered something really important. Panic filled Cheng Cheng’s face as she turned around and intended to run back to her own residence. Before she actually did that, she turned back towards Fan Er and asked curiously.
“Is there something you would like to tell me?”
“I…” Fan Er blinked her eyes, then it was as if her haze had cleared and she came back to her senses.
“Here… How did I end up in this place?”
Fan Er looked around as if she was really confused and turned back to leave the HaiYa’s residence.
Tang Cheng Cheng also followed her by looking around then she shrugged her shoulders. She then rushed back to Fox who had already finished the bowl of clear boiled lamb meat and was currently licking the bowl clean.
“Young master!”
She knew that he was only just a monster, but she had gotten used to calling him Young master anyway.
“What is it?”
He was about to peel some sunflower seeds and eat it when he raised his puzzled eyes to look at her.
He lifted one of his feet and put it on the bench and the whole image looked so indecent.
“Please go and fetch the lunch meal for me.”
She then sat down on the bench without another word.
“WHAT? How dare you tell me to do that!”
Did she actually ingest a bear’s heart and leopard’s gall[2] and became fearless enough to do this?
“That is because you are now Tang Cheng Cheng.”
She smiled at him cheerfully with her eyes curved, not giving in to him at all.
Fox was gobsmacked.
She is really courting death now!
