Chapter 18: Close call
The moment Fox entered the manor, he bumped onto a granny who was about to go to the market.
The granny was round and robust, so when Fox bumped onto her, her fat rolls actually wobbled on impact, while Fox fell down and rolled on the ground twice. She laid on the ground stunned after that, and softly moaned in pain.
“Aiya!” The granny cried out in shock.
“How can you be so indecent like this? How can you wear your clothes like that? Both… both both…” Both his br**sts were now expose!
Fox angrily picked himself up then looked up at the sky. He couldn’t find the traces of Tang Cheng Cheng’s body now. He didn’t know where the invincible object had kidnapped her to.
Fox wanted to let the granny go and keep on searching for Tang Cheng Cheng’s whereabouts. Yet the granny grabbed her and refused to let her scurry around freely with her two br**sts hanging out in the courtyard.
“You will wear your clothes properly now!”
Fox struggled as he tried to use the side of his hand to karate chop the back of the granny’s neck.
“AH——“
The one who cried out wasn’t the granny but Fox himself. His hand was now throbbing in pain.
His current body was currently less than half the width of granny’s and he was also shorter than her too. He wanted to hit the vital points at the back of her neck to make her faint, but he thought it would be faster to make himself faint if he tried any further.
Granny furiously rushed towards him as she pulled together and buttoned up her woolen jacket.
“Did your family teach you to be this shameless, young lady! Your clothes…”
“So naggy!”
Fox had no choice but to use this young lady’s only line of defense——He bit down hard on granny’s hand.
“Ah ya——“
Blood flowed out from where he had bit her as granny let him go reflexively.
Granny only managed to close up two buttons on his woolen jacket so his chest was now covered but his bare tummy was still exposed to the chilly wind.
Fox shivered in the cold weather as he continued on to search for Tang Cheng Cheng. He then tightened the belt of the jacket as he approached the big lake at the HaiYa residence. He could see the blur image of a person going in and out of the lake’s surface and heard the person calling out for help from time to time. Yet that person kept being pushed downwards into the lake.
It was definitely Tang Cheng Cheng!
He hurriedly took off his shoes and jumped into the lake.
The lake waters were icy cold causing his teeth to tremble in response.
He wasted no time and swam towards her as fast as he could. Tang Cheng Cheng had just ran out of energy to struggle and started to sink slowly towards the bottom of the lake. The bubbles that came out of her became smaller and smaller as she sank, her eyes froze in that horrified gaze as her soul slowly winked out of it’s black orbs. Her limbs had stopped moving for quite some time now.
Damn it, Tang Cheng Cheng, you better hold on to that precious life of yours!
It was not easy just to reach her body by swimming. His 4 limbs were suddenly held in place by a brutal force, making him unable to swim upwards anymore.
He could feel his rage coming back. Although his eyes couldn’t see anything in front of him, yet he couldn’t move an inch away from the same spot. It didn’t matter how much he tried to struggle because all his efforts remained futile.
Now, Tang Cheng Cheng had already sank towards the bottom of the lake.
Suddenly, he could feel a cold voice humming beside his ears.
“Who are you?”
Fox wanted to shout at him.
[I’m your father!]
Yet he was now inside the lake, so it was hard for him to open his mouth and form words. The worst thing is, he could feel his chest start to constrict without air.
If he didn’t take one more breath, he would really die along with Tang Cheng Cheng.
“Oo…oo oo oo…” Fox struggled as hard as he could muster.
The invincible object just stared at him without moving or saying anything.
Fox’s face was now flushed red, his black pupils were now starting to roll up while his body trembled uncontrollably. He looked as if his life was going to end soon.
“HA!” The invincible object boomed out with cold laughter.
It thought that it had encountered two powerful beings and it turns out that these two meat were only normal humans. Maybe they had practiced divinity before and he had just used a little Tao mana to make a small part of its body to dissolve into thin air.
When it thought about how fearful it was as it hid itself, the invisible object felt ashamed as its anger rose. He then kicked Fox downwards in a rage.
“Go and die together now!”
Fox was kicked towards the bottom of the lake and was now together with Tang Cheng Cheng.
The pupils that had already rolled up returned back to its normal position as he put his arms around Tang Cheng Cheng and kissed her lips.
It was thanks to the heavens that this person haven’t completely died yet.
The sky and the ground shifted once more as Fox celebrated with joy. He hugged Tang Cheng Cheng closed to his body and shot out the lake in a strong whirlpool.
