Chapter 66: Her Past

Huo Yixuan was also naked but he just stood in front of Yang Nainai calmly while the corners of his lips lifted in a savage smile, 

"Why do you need to wear your clothes, baby? Huo gege will teach you how to swim n4ked in a while, okay?"

What kind of crazy a s s act was he trying to pull?!

Yang Nainai stared at him for a while with her wet eyes. She then suddenly squatted down, buried her head in between her knees and rocked herself as she cried.

She felt so small today.

Huo Yixuan was crazy. He only cared about his own happiness and did whatever he wanted. He almost killed her just now with those humiliating tortures.

He could still say such shameless things as if nothing had happened at all.

Yang Nainai felt that she had become a magnet for all these crazy obsessive monsters. How could her heart move so warmly for such a man?

She had fallen so hard for his heroic attitude this morning when he protected her. At that time, her heartbeat accelerated, while she felt so secured by his warmth for the very first time. She thought that she might have found the person she could spend the rest of her life with and rely on him for everything.

Yet that same man had nearly drowned her just a few hours later and suffocated her just now by stuffing the damn thing into her mouth.

The taste of his s3m3n still lingered pungently and didn’t feel like it would dissipate anytime soon. It was so uncomfortable that it was breaking her.

Huo Yixuan stared at her dumbly as she cried her heart out. He finally understood that he had went too far this time so he retracted his playful attitude and knelt down to pull her into his arms. He patted her back softly as he soothed her. 

“It’s alright now, I was wrong, don’t cry anymore, okay? Hmm?"

Yang Nainai pushed him away furiously. She stared at him sadly with her reddened moist eyes. 

"How come you don't know how to respect other people at all? You were fine in the morning, but then you became crazy in the afternoon. Huo Yixuan, do you have split personalities?" 

She had been kind when she said that he had split personalities just now. The correct ugly term should be neurotic crazy a s s h o l e.

The more Yang Nainai thought about it, the more she felt that Huo Yixuan was insane.

They had been together for so long and he had always joked around and teased her all the time. Not once had he ever stayed consistent in any of his forms. The only consistent thing he always does was to take advantage of her whenever a chance presented itself in front of him. He would sweet talk or lie to her just to get her to bed then spout all those shameless words, telling her that he wanted to fu k her to death.

However, occasionally, he would suddenly go all crazy, like a predatory wolf.

Yang Nainai remembered how he looked like as if he was going to devour her, and several times she just felt scared, but this time he pushed her to the brink of death. Yang Nainai finally felt deep inside her bones that this person was not normal. She just had to get out of his clutches.

Her anxious appearance made Huo Yixuan's heart twitch in unease and he could feel that deep urge to torture trying to break out of the surface once more. His mind was screaming for him to just grab her and lock her up somewhere no one could find them.

He contemplated the temptation for a while and gave it up in the end. He smiled slightly then squatted down in front of her, 

"Nainai, I really know I was wrong, don't be angry, okay? I'll take you home now. Someone will come here soon, and I don’t want anybody to see you n4ked."

Yang Nainai suddenly curled up in panic, she didn't want to be seen like this. It was too shameful to be exposed in such a large public setting.

Huo Yixuan pulled out the bath towel from the back of the reclining chair, wrapped it around Yang Nainai. He then carried her up and walked away from the pool towards the locker room in big strides.

Yang Nainai lowered her head all the way and buried her head deeply in Huo Yixuan's chest.

When she got home, she locked herself up in her room and refused to eat dinner.

Huo Yixuan also knew that he was too impulsive today so he didn't bully her anymore. It was rare for Yang Nainai to sleep peacefully by herself that night.

For the next few days, Yang Nainai avoided Huo Yixuan as best as she could. She hid from him when she went to school in the morning and returned straight home from school in the afternoon. She did everything she could to avoid picking up Huo Yixuan's calls.

How was she supposed to face Huo Yixuan now? No matter what she did, the incident that day still left her trembling in fear.

Huo Yixuan didn't seem to be bothered at all as he didn't come by to look for her either. It was her who was hiding away from him like a turtle.

Since their relationship had been exposed, there was some unkind discussions among the students in school. Although they haven't said anything in front of Yang Nainai, she was also not a fool. Every time she walked along the corridor or pass by their classrooms, she will see some of those people huddling together at one corner and talk in hushed tones.

Yet they always blanked out their expressions as soon as they saw her and pretended not to know her.

During their lunch break, Yang Nainai went to the toilet as usual. As soon as she was about to sit down on the toilet bowl, she started to hear someone gossiping about her.

"Why does Huo Yixuan have that kind of taste? How can he like such an ugly girl like Yang Nainai?" 

She didn’t recognize that female voice nor did she even know who she was.

Yang Nainai, was about to go out when she paused before she release the latch on the door. She wanted to wait and see what the girls had to say.

Another girl laughed and said, 

"Are you jealous? If you like him then you might as well chase after him. Yang Nainai is not even as good-looking as you are so if you want to learn from her, then you can throw yourself at him. Huo Yixuan might even fall in love with you when you do that."

"Throw myself at him?" The girl seemed to have heard something remarkable which caused her tone to be raised excitedly, "What do you mean, do you have some insider news?"

The woman washed her hands and laughed, 

"You definitely don't know this. Well, don’t look down on Yang Nainai and think that she is super innocent. I went to the same junior high as her but I was one grade lower than her, so I know some of her old stories."

"What old stories?"

Even Yang Nainai could feel the anticipation in the air.

The girl who knew the inside story, giggled and looked at the door before saying, 

"Yang Nainai got into some troubles when we were in junior high, and she became very famous because of it. After that, everyone even gave her a nickname.

"What nickname?"

"Sumo!" 

The girl was stunned. Yang Nainai's hands were already clenched into fists, and she resisted the urge to rush out and hit her.

The girl asked, 

"Do you know why she is called sumo?"

"Why?"

"Because she used to be really fat and was as ugly as she was shameless. She was a toad who aimed to eat a swan’s meat [1]. She didn't know her rightful place and dared to confess to the school grass. So everyone ended up calling her a sumo, because she was too brave and fought for what she didn't deserve!" 

The insider girl said this with a gleeful tone as she trampled on Yang Nainai cruelly. That feeling was so exhilarating for her.

Yang Nainai closed her eyes and lost the courage to open the door. That incident last time had become a tale of three people becoming tigers[2]. Before she knew what had happened, the rumors had already spread uncontrollably. In the end, she became the number one enemy that people despised and hated no matter what she did.

The rumors then painted her as the toad who didn’t know it’s place as it demanded for ‘over the sky’ requests. She became the famous ugly girl that everybody was disgusted by.

"Hahahaha, the description is so apt. From what I can see, she didn’t really lose much weight from then either. Was she just as ugly as she is today? How did Huo Yixuan get captured by her bait? Isn't it a bit too pitiful for him that she had succeeded in her efforts on throwing herself on him?" 

The girl's exaggerated laughter echoed inside the toilet. It would probably sound like a banshee howling if this were to happen at midnight.

The insider girl continued to sneer, 

"Of course, Huo Yixuan is so good-looking and he doesn’t even like Huang Shiqi either, yet he fell into Yang Nainai’s trap instead. I don't know what method she used but I don't think they’ll last long. Huo Yixuan will definitely dump Yang Nainai soon. Let us just wait and watch the show!" 

After the two finished speaking, they flicked off the moisture from their hands and left.

Yang Nainai remained inside the toilet for a long time, and only went out when she couldn't hear their voices anymore.
