Their holiday began that Saturday afternoon.
Yang Nainai left early and didn't bother to answer Huo Yixuan's call. She
figured that since she was free these days, she would accept some photoshoot
appointments to make some cash on the side.
She happened to know a friend, who asked her to help him take some model’s
portfolio pictures for a client today in his photo studio.
Her friend had offered her 200 yuan for today’s session so Yang Nainai only
mulled about it for three hours, and readily agreed to his request.
Once school ended, she left so fast that Huo Yixuan didn't even manage to
catch her shadow. He was naturally in a bad mood, yet he still laughed and
talked to Ma Shanshan, and within a few minutes, Ma Shanshan inadvertently
exposed Yang Nainai's whereabouts to him.
Yang Nainai started to adjust her camera once she arrived at the studio. The
store manager, Sister Tan, led the customer upstairs. When Yang Nainai saw
her client, she almost dropped the camera in surprise.

A girl who was dressed slightly too matured for her age walked towards her
in shock.
“Is that you, Yang Nainai?”
Yang Nainai nodded stiffly.
“It’s such a coincidence, Hu Sili.”
She didn’t even need to guess. This was her client for the portfolio
photoshoot session today.
Hu Sili was a little surprised at the outcome and regained her arrogant
composure very swiftly. Her judging eyes swept Yang Nainai from top to toe
once, and scoffed,
“I haven't seen you for a few years, you really haven't changed one bit.
You’re still... how should I say this, quaintly conservative.”
Yang Nainai understood her words because her condescending eyes were now
mocking at how old fashioned she looked.
If she hadn't already agree to do this favor for the boss, Yang Nainai would
have left by now.
The fates must have not been favorable to her these past few weeks. First,
Zhang Qiyun stomped into her life with his crappy presence then she had the
bad luck to meet Hu Sili today. They were really the perfect pair of
scumbags to reduce her days to sh!t. Yang Nainai had a hunch that this
wasn’t the only abus3 that she had to face today.
“Manager, don’t tell me that she is the photographer who is going to take my
picture today? Didn’t you say that you were going to assign the best
photographer for me? Is this what I’m going to get by buying the most
expensive package in your store?”
Hu Sili's words surprised the store manager. She thought that it would be
easier for them to communicate since they knew each other. She didn't expect
this woman to belittle the photographer instead.

“Pretty miss, since you mentioned it, of course Nainai is the best
photographer we have. The advertisement photos at the window display outside
is her work. Didn't you say that you must have this photographer shoot your
portfolio photos no matter what happens?”
Hu Sili was a little embarrassed when she heard this, but her expression
quickly turned suspicious,
“Manager, don't lie to me. We are classmates, so why didn't I know of her
skills before this?”
Yang Nainai put down her camera and said with a cold expression,
“Sister Tan, I'm sorry, since Miss Hu doesn't believe in me then I don't
want to waste my time anymore. I have to fulfil my other photoshoot
appointments today. It would be better for you to contact other
photographers instead.”
Yang Nainai didn't want to shoot Hu Sili’s photos at all since she looked
down on her so much. She didn't want to waste her time in an argument that
wasn’t going to benefit her at all.
“Hey, don't be like this, Nainai, this...”
Sister Tan was stunned because she didn't expect them to be hostile to each
other. She had already accepted the money, and the weekends were usually
tight. Where was she supposed to find a photographer now?
“Yo, what kind of pompous airs are you putting on now? Yang Nainai, you have
grown some big guts since the last time I’ve seen you few years ago! What's
the matter, are you trying to take my money and run off without giving me
what I paid for? You are trying to make me lose face, aren’t you? Is this
the kind of service you should give to your paying customer?! Aren’t you
afraid that I will file a complaint against you all?”
Hu Sili was used to being an arrogant br@t. She always looked down on other
people and belittled them so she’d never experienced anyone turning away
from her first. It irked her to no end that Yang Nainai who she considered
the most insignificant piece of dirt underneath her shoes, dared to turn
away from her like this.
Hu Sili, who had just belittled Yang Nainai’s capability, now changed her
stance and was forcing Yang Nainai to take the pictures for her portfolio
instead.
Yang Nainai gave a stiff laughter as her anger rose,
“Hu Sili, I haven't seen you for a few years, but your IQ seemed to have
drop a lot. Do you think that the whole world belongs to your family and
everyone is like your mother who has to spoil you no matter what you do? I'm
sorry, I'm still very young so I can't give birth to a daughter as old as
you.”
Hu Sili who always had to have the last words, contorted her face in
fury,
“Stinky b!tch, what did you just say?!”
Yang Nainai rolled her eyes then she completely ignored her.
“Sister Tan, I'm leaving now, please tell the boss for me.”
Hu Sili couldn’t stand how disrespectful she was to her and became so
furious that she stepped forward to pull hard on Yang Nainai's hair then

Before Yang Nainai could react, Hu Sili had picked up a chair and was about
to slam it down on her. The store manager broke out of her shock, and
hurriedly came in between them to try to break off the assault.
She now knew that Hu Sili was used to being cruel. Her strength was so great
that she couldn't even pull her away for a while. The store manager had no
choice but to scream loudly for her other store clerks to help her pull Hu
Sili away.
Hu Sili’s tantrum was so high pitched and full of obscenities that it was
hard for anyone to listen to. Who would have thought that this pretty shell
of a girl would store such vulgar savagery in her bones.
She didn’t only curse obscenely, it was as if Hu Sili went crazy with fury
as she broke free from the clerks and bulldozed through everything in the
studio.
In the end, the manager had no choice but to call the police to take
everyone away. Yang Nainai's face was so swollen that she looked really
pitiful.
Sister Tan also didn’t leave unscathed by her disastrous assault. She now
had a long bloody scratch on her face.
“I feel like I’ve seen a devil while I’m still living. I've been in this
business for so long, and I've never seen such an unreasonable person. Is
she a lunatic?”
Yang Nainai snorted, “She’s not only a lunatic, she's a rich lunatic. Sister
Tan, I'm really so sorry for dragging you into this.”
Sister Tan glared at her,
“What nonsense are you talking about. So what if she’s rich? Everyone could
see that she's in the wrong today. Why should we be afraid? There are
surveillance cameras in the store. Let me tell you, if she doesn't honestly
compensate us for all the damages and our medical expenses today, I’ll
definitely file a lawsuit against her and sue her for all she has!”
Thinking of this, she looked at Yang Nainai sympathetically,
“I put you in harm’s way today. I’ll ask President Tan to report the
injuries that you’ve faced on your behalf and claim the medical expenses
from her. What a dratted girl. Why was she so ruthless that she dared to
bully you to this extent? Let's go to the hospital after this so that we can
get the report for the extent of your injury. I’ll make sure that she
compensates us well.”
Yang Nainai only just wanted to finish reporting the incident and go back to
tend to her wounds alone. She was still a student so when something like
this happened, she needed a family member to sign before she can leave the
police station.
Her fingers held her phone for a long time before it finally connected to
her mother's number. Zhang Rui answered the phone, and spoke without waiting
for her response,
“Darling, I'm sorry, mommy has something important to do now so I can't go
back tonight. I’ll go back the day after tomorrow. I’ve already transferred
your living expenses to your WeChat payment account. Make sure you check
that it went through.”

Yang Nainai only had time to say “Oh” before her mom hurriedly hung up the
phone. She stared at the phone for a long time while the rims of her eyes
started to become red. She kept her head down for a while before she forced
her tears back.
When she looked up again, her face had erased off it’s sad expression and
she now looked as if nothing had happened.
In the end, the owner of the studio, Mr. Tan, came in and signed all the
documents so that his staff could leave the police station. Mr. Tan was also
adamant that Hu Sili should compensate them for all the damages and medical
expenses she caused. He declared that even if Hu Sili's mother threatened
them, he would not give in to her and submitted the surveillance video in
the righteous hands of the police instead.
With his word, Hu Sili now not only needed to compensate for all the damages
in the store, she would also need to pay the employees' ruined work, their
salary, their medical expenses, and issue a public apology to them.
Yang Nainai didn't need to worry anymore as Mr. Tan reassured Yang Nainai
that he would update her about the matter in the future.
Yang Nainai told them that her body was fine, but Mr. Tan insisted on taking
her to the hospital for a checkup, and he even sent her back to her
community too.
Yang Nainai walked back with a bag of medicine for her injury. When Huo
Yixuan suddenly appeared in front of her, it startled her to no end.
“What are you doing, don't you need to sleep at night? Do you want to scare
someone to death?!”
Yang Nainai was annoyed, and when she saw Huo Yixuan, it stoked the fires of
her anger even higher.
